This isn’t something I’ve seen before, but some research today has made me really furious about it. I think it’s totally inappropriate in an education-focused community to have user-generated content automatically hyperlinking to advertising, and I am appalled that Edublogs decided to go down this route.

Chris Sessums said it much better.

Anyway, I’m voting with my feet and moving my blog to http://www.jenrossity.net/blog

I will put forwarding links on recent blog posts here on Eduspaces and hope that anyone who’s interested in following my (infrequent) postings will update their bookmarks or rss feeds.
